During a short residency at the BIMHUIS, Craig Taborn – phenomenal improviser and pioneer of jazz and experimental music – will work on new material with musicians from Amsterdam’s improv scene, which will be presented to the audience while the ink is still fresh.
Craig Taborn (Minneapolis, 1970) is an American pianist and composer who has played a pioneering role in the jazz, improv and experimental music scene for more than 25 years. For his residency at the BIMHUIS, he will be playing with Okkyung Lee, Sun-Mi Hong and Alessandro Fongaro.

Her music combines South Korean and European traditions and sees her explore the uncharted territory between the two.
