BIMHUIS

Accessibility

  • There are special wheelchair places in the BIMHUIS. Would you like to reserve these? Then call 020 788 21 50 (Monday to Friday 10:00 - 14:00) or send an email to [email protected]

With a wheelchair or mobility scooter, the best way to reach the BIMHUIS is via the foyer of the Muziekgebouw. Upon entering, take the lift on the right to the BIMHUIS on the third floor. Coming over the bridge? Then take the same lift here, now on your left, to the third floor.

  • The BIMHUIS has a wheelchair toilet, accessible via a sliding door 100 cm wide.

  • If you come by car, several car parks are available. The Piet Hein garage is located under the BIMHUIS (cost: €0.25 per 3 minutes, maximum daily rate €50). There are paid disabled parking spaces in the Piet Hein garage.

You can also park at P+R Zeeburg, Zuiderzeeweg 46a (cost: €8.00 for 24 hours if you drive in before 10am, including GVB return tickets for tram, bus and metro for you and your partner). From there, take tram 26 (towards Central Station), which stops right in front of the door.

If travelling by public transport, the venue is just over a 10-minute walk from Amsterdam Central Station. Tram 26 (towards Central Station) runs to and from the station every 10 minutes, and stops at the Muziekgebouw/BIMHUIS tram stop.

Bicycles can be parked outside or inside in a covered bicycle shed.

  • Yes, assistance and guide dogs are allowed.
