Van Hauwe (1993) likes to experiment with working methods that are a breeding ground for collaboration and encounter, and explores contemporary visual culture through live performance, digital media and movement. Her recent projects investigate the extent to which pedagogy, artistic research and performance can touch and reinforce each other.
Van Hauwe is a dramaturge and theatre maker. In 2021, she graduated from the MA International Dramaturgy course at the University of Amsterdam, and in 2024 obtained her BA in Education & Directing at the Toneelacademie in Maastricht. Last year, Van Hauwe worked as a dramaturge at Productiehuis Rotterdam, the production Goodbye P0rn by dance collective Teddy's Last Ride at the Grand Theater in Groningen and the multiplayer VR experience Heroes by director Robin Coops.
