Opera in het park: Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg

This year’s choice for the Holland Festival’s traditional screening at the Amsterdam Oosterpark has fallen to Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg, Wagner’s first and only comic opera. The performance is broadcast live from The Amsterdam Music Theatre on a big screen in the park. Whilst enjoying your picnic, you can let yourself be swept along by the dramatic developments and comic highlights of this production by De Nederlandse Opera, with the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra and the choir of De Nederlandse Opera, under the direction of Marc Albrecht. Naturally, admission to the park is free of charge.
