A typical adult knows some 40.000 words on average. These make it possible for us to express ourselves, to communicate and give meaning to things. At the same time, words are often limiting or even confusing. In recent times, the theatre collective BOG. has been working on TAL., a philosophical language concert in which they dissect humankind’s most important tool: language. In TAL.kshow they have a conversation about language together with the composer Jens Bouttery, led by the journalist Evelyne Coussens. The conversation is alternated with music clips from the work process of TAL.
