Many people think that contemporary music, for example music by composers such as Olga Neuwirth and Harrison Birtwistle, is too difficult for amateur musicians to perform. But that doesn’t have to be the case. The Cologne Ensemble Musikfabrik have developed a method called SpielBar which brings this music into reach for everyone. Melvyn Poore and Marco Blaauw, two of Ensemble Musikfabrik’s members, will travel to Amsterdam to lead the workshop. No experience necessary.
