After the huge success of The End of the Moon in 2005, Laurie Anderson is back at the Holland Festival with her latest work. Delusion is a series of short mystery plays alternating between reality, dream and myth. The New York singer, violinist and performer creates her very own universe with her brand of otherworldly music, her sublime visual designs and her spellbinding personality. Switching between cool detachment and raw emotion she tells stories ranging from the mystical origins of the Russian space pro-gramme to theories of speed and time, from the demise of the American Empire to the background of her Swedish ancestors. Another pioneering performance from this utterly unique artist.
