With his unmistakeable, emotionally charged voice and his personal lyrics, Antony has gained a large, loyal following in the Netherlands. After three years Antony and the Johnsons are back in this country, for a one-off concert with the Metropole Orchestra, They will play a selection from their four albums and some new ‘surprises’, including the concert’s title song Cut the World. Antony wrote this especially for Robert Wilson’s production The Life and Death of Marina Abramovic´ (page 107), in which he will be appearing later at the festival in the Royal Theatre Carré. Antony’s symphonic concert, featuring a spectacular laser show, will take place at the Concertgebouw – which he considers a dream come true. Be a part of it!
