Tratando de hacer una obra que cambie el mundo (An attempt to stage a play that will change the world) is an entertaining piece of theatre which tears into the ‘ultimate delirium of the last romantics’. The absurd situations serve to make it a powerful comical and acute satire on utopia, revolution and politics. A group of politically driven stage actors literally go underground to write an ultimate play that will change the world. However, after four years of isolation they discover that a new government has succeeded in banning all poverty and injustice. With ruthless self-ridicule and boundless energy Chilean ensemble La Re-sentida paint a poignant picture of the importance of art in this modern, ideology-free age.
