The Nation is more than just theatre; it is a multi-media experience. In addition to the six parts of the theatre series, director Eric de Vroedt has written a seventh storyline which has been produced in virtual reality. With a 360-degree view, the individual visitor is able to see through Ismaël’s eyes how everyone is
looking for him. Set designer and artist Maze de Boer has made an installation with 50 VR headsets with which part seven can be viewed.
