The Holland Festival and Theatre and Performance Studies of the University of Amsterdam have joined forces to present a programme reflecting this year’s festival’s focus on music theatre. In connection with the meeting of the international Working Group Dramaturgy they have organised a three-day music theatre event. The programme centres on issues of interdisciplinarity between music and theatre and how they impact on the work of the dramaturge and the director. As well as the (closed) meeting, the programme will consist of visiting performances, talks with the dramaturges and directors of these performances, seminars and a masterclass for ( former) students of theatre studies and dramatic arts.
