Each year, the Holland Festival receives a large number of foreign journalists who report on the festival, interview makers and review productions. Now that the performing arts have ground to a halt throughout the world and travel is impossible, this situation offers room for reflection of a different kind. We invited six journalists from various countries over the world to think about the role art criticism can or should play in these times. And also: about which maker or production from the Holland Festival 2020 the journalist would have liked to write?
