During this talk Teresinha de Jesus will also join on stage. De Jesus is a Brazilian woman who is part of the story of the play Macacos; part of the text is a communication between her and Nascimento about a Brazilian tragedy of police violence. Her 9-year-old son was a victim of recurrent violence in Brazil between police and slum dwellers. As of today, she fights for justice for herself and other mothers who have lost their children in the same context.
