A day before the performance by the Cape Town Singers and iGugu Le Kapa at Carré, Afrovibese, Tolhuistuin and Beeld voor Beeld will screen a documentary on Goema, the beat and the rhythm of Cape Town. This brand of Cape Town Beat developed from the local carnival culture, fusing rock from the 1980’s with melodious Cape Town Jazz.
