This May and June, De Kring, the arts club of which Misha Mengelberg was a member, opens its doors to the Holland Festival for four jazz nights led by saxophone player Benjamin Herman. It’s a unique opportunity to mingle with the great and the good of Amsterdam’s cultural life and appreciate jazz by top musicians such as Ernst Glerum (ICP), Joost Patocka and Miguel Rodriguez as well as new talent in the surroundings of this usually private club.
