The public area of the Gashouder hosts the exhibition Luigi Nono 1924 – 1990. Maestro di suoni e silenzi (Luigi Nono 1924–1990. Master of sound and silence). More than thirty panels with photographs and manuscripts illustrate the life and work of Luigi Nono, with an emphasis on the works which are being performed at the festival this year. The exhibition is curated by the composer’s widow, Nuria Schoenberg Nono.
