In the theatre, digital media are used predominantly for aesthetic effect. True interactivity, sharing control with the audience, still remains open for further exploration. One such work is The Transmigration of Morton F. by Sjaron Minailo and Anat Spiegel, the festival’s new digital production this year. Following on from last year’s debate about digital art, the Holland Festival organises a panel discussion about interactive art. Tim Vermeulen, involved with Dutch Design Week and the arts and technology festival STRP, will moderate this debate about the latest developments in the field.
