The Dutch National Ballet presents new work by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui and David Dawson. These two choreographers have completely different backgrounds and styles, yet share a boundless zest for adventure. Cherkaoui manages to surprise his audience time and time again with special performances and collaborations. For this première he will be creating an intimate piece set to new music composed by Szymon Brzoska, commissioned by the Dutch National Ballet. Dawson, on the other hand, starts from classical ballet techniques, interpreting these with his own modern poetic idiom. He will be presenting a choreography set to a composition by dj Robin Rimbaud aka Scanner.
