Welcome to the Holland Festival 2025!
We present a full range of international performing arts: music, music theatre, theatre, dance, multidisciplinary forms, visual arts and film. The artists we invite present the unlimited freedom of art in all its facets – innovative, pioneering and artistically engaging.
Dive into the festival: visit as many performances, talks, workshops, film screenings, late nights and Visits as you can. Choose something you don’t know yet, and let yourself be surprised. Many artists are coming to the festival – or even to the Netherlands – for the first time, and several collaborations are made especially for this edition. Familiar venues will be used in different ways as well: we show dance at Muziekgebouw, music
theatre at ITA, opera in the park.
Our festival isn’t just about watching performances, but also about interaction: between audience and artists, between different art forms and between people. Experiencing art together – being physically present and sharing a moment – creates a communal bond and gives new meaning to what we see.
Associate artist Trajal Harrell will open his own inspiring artist studio titled Welcome to Asbestos Hall, a dynamic space full of movement and experimentation. Step inside, embrace the experience and discover what unfolds there.
Together with the team, the artists and everyone visiting Holland Festival, we aim to create a welcoming meeting place. A festival that has diversity, inclusion and the artists’ vision at its heart. A place where artists present their latest work, and performing arts are experienced, shared and celebrated.
