Nazmiye Oral (1969) is a writer and actress. She is co-founder of Zina, a theater initiative focused on local neighborhood projects. Her debut novel Zehra was published in 2011 and was nominated for the E. du Perron Prize. Together with her mother, she was at the Holland Festival in 2015 with the performance No more without you, with which she also performed in New York at the Crossing the Line Festival in 2017. In 2016 she won a Gouden Kalf for her role in the film In Freedom.
