Choreographers Rudi van Dantzig, Hans van Manen and Toer van Schayk create a theatrical work for the arena and stage of Theater Carré in Amsterdam on the theme of "life". They use music by David Bowie, Charles Ives, Franz Liszt, Tomás Luis de Victoria and Camille Saint-Saens, among others. In this excerpt, a scene from Van Manen's Live/Life which, because of its spatial conception, is impossible to perform anywhere other than at Carré.
