Jerrau is a pioneering member of a new breed of Amsterdam DJs. The pandemic gave him the opportunity to hone and pursue his approach to deejaying, which resulted in his breakthrough. Jerrau established himself by deejaying at major festivals like Dekmantel and Lowlands.   

The Surinamese Dutch DJ easily moves between events that focus on a single dance genre, though he prefers to bring down walls separating them. He is interested in a wide range of music styles - from breakbeats and bass-heavy club hits to soulful melodies - and has an insatiable curiosity leading him to less conventional sources of inspiration, like videogames, soundtracks and anime, which he subtly incorporates in his sets.

Jerran has a monthly show on the Amsterdam Radio Radio station (RRFM) and epitomises the type of DJ who goes off the beaten path and is not afraid of operating on the fringes of DJ culture.
