Prior to the performance of Roysten Abel’s production The Kitchen, you can enjoy a delightful Indian picnic at the Vondelpark Open Air Theatre. Along with the infectious beats of DJ Safri you can taste authentic Indian streetfood, including Joeri Tandoeri’s naan bread and curry and the Indy Truck’s salads. And bring the kids along! They can create their own ice cream with an Indian twist, courtesy of ‘Nice on a stick’. And there’s also food for thought: various speakers will talk about the different aspects of food and sustainability in India. Everyone is welcome! Whether you intend to go and see The Kitchen or not.
