Guy Cools (Wenen, 1964) is a dance dramaturge. He completed a practice-oriented doctorate’s programme about the relationship between dance and writing at Ghent University. He has worked as a dance critic and dance curator. Cools is a sought-after choreographic and dramaturgic mentor. He lectures and teaches at various universities and art academies in Europe and Canada. Cools and Schuitemaker have worked together since 2010. Cools has been lending his dramaturgic knowledge and insights to all productions that have come about since.
