Hearing aid
We have hearing loops in our halls, ask at the front desk.
The Earcatch app offers audio description for (premiere) films. If Earcatch offers audio description for a film, it is mentioned on the film page. See also the entire Earcatch offering. The Subcatch app subtitles what you can't hear. If a film is available on the Subcatch app, it is mentioned on the film page.
Wheelchair seats
You can reserve a wheelchair or walker in advance at Eye's reception desk: email [email protected], stating the date and time of your visit.
All floors of Eye are accessible by lift. Two spaces are always reserved for wheelchairs in Eye's cinemas. In Cinema 2 and 3 these seats are at the back of the auditorium and in Cinema 1 and 4 these seats are at the front of the auditorium (front row). Booking in advance is not necessary, but it is nice if you announce your arrival via [email protected].
Accessibility & parking
The entire Eye building is accessible for people in wheelchairs or with other disabilities. The lift to get to the reception desk is located to the right of the main entrance stairs. There are two disabled parking spaces in the A'DAM Tower car park. We recommend you take the 'A'DAM Tower' exit when leaving the car park, it has a wheelchair-friendly automatic outer door.
Assistance dogs
Guide dogs for the blind are welcome everywhere. Other dogs are allowed in Eye Bar Restaurant/the arena, but not in the Panorama, exhibition area or movie theatres. Dogs must be leashed and supervised at all times.
