DoubleTree Late Night: Meral's harem

Straight after Nishtiman's performance at the Bimhuis, the Kurdish party continues at the DoubleTree Hotel's Skylounge with an appearance by the Kurdish born singer and actress Meral Polat supported by Beppe Costa and his band. Meral is known for her work with Orkater and the Rotterdam RO Theatre and screen roles in a growing number of feature films. Beppe's work has included appearances in TV shows Koefnoen and 't Schaep. Together the members of the band treat us to a theatrical evening full of passionate music which takes the audience from a deserted house on the banks of the Bosporus via a palace in Budapest and the idyll of Tuscany to Holland and the here and now; a journey which can't fail to make your heart beat faster, regardless of where you come from or which culture you belong to.
