Angel Everts started gardening through Bloei & Groei at the Hoptille vegetable garden as a local resident. After training to become a garden coach assistant at the Bloei Academy, Angel started this wonderful ‘green’ job. She not only sows seeds in the garden, but in the heads of other local residents too by raising awareness about green and healthy food. Growing your own food means zero wasted food kilometres, plus you know how everything is grown and prepared from the seed to the dinner table. Making the neighbourhood greener and passing on knowledge - especially to children - is her great motivation.
